Terms of Use

Effective Date / Last Updated: October 7, 2026

Welcome to Sunveda Solar. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Sunveda Solar website, solar calculator, enquiry forms, quotation services, site-survey booking services, customer portal, project-tracking services, and service/AMC features, across our Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra operations.

By accessing or using this website, submitting an enquiry, requesting a quotation, booking a site survey, using the solar calculator, uploading a document, creating an account, or otherwise using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these Terms of Use, please do not use the website or submit information through our online services.

Sunveda Solar reserves the right to update these Terms of Use at any time; updated terms will be published on this page with a revised effective date.

1. About Sunveda Solar

Sunveda Solar provides information and services relating to solar energy systems — residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural, institutional, and government — across Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra. Our website may provide information about solar power systems, on-grid and off-grid solutions, installation services, system sizing and estimation, electricity-bill-based calculations, site surveys, quotations, projects, financing, government schemes and subsidies, and maintenance/AMC and warranty support.

Information displayed on the website is for general informational and service-assistance purposes and may be updated from time to time.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

By using this website, you confirm that: you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable law; the information you provide is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge; you will use the website only for lawful purposes; and you will not misuse, disrupt, damage, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website or its systems.

If you are submitting information on behalf of another person, company, organization, or property owner, you represent that you are authorized to do so.

3. Information You Provide

You may be asked to provide information such as name, mobile number, email, address, city, state, PIN code, company/organization details, electricity consumption information, monthly electricity bill, sanctioned electrical load, solar requirements, property-related information, site-survey and project information, information required for quotation or financing, and documents you upload. You agree that this information is accurate, current, and not misleading, and you should not knowingly provide false, fraudulent, or unauthorized information.

4. Solar Calculator and Estimates

Our solar calculator generates estimates based on information you enter (electricity consumption, monthly bill, location, assumed system capacity, solar generation assumptions, applicable tariff information, and other inputs).

Calculator results are estimates only and are not a guaranteed quotation, savings amount, generation level, or financial return. Actual results may vary based on electricity tariffs, roof/land conditions, available installation area, solar irradiation, shading, system configuration, equipment specifications, government policy, utility approval, installation conditions, weather, maintenance, and other technical or commercial factors.

A final system design, quotation, project cost, and expected performance can only be determined after a proper technical assessment and site evaluation.

5. Electricity Bills and Uploaded Documents

By uploading an electricity bill or other document, you confirm that you have the right to provide it, that it is relevant to your solar enquiry, and that you will not knowingly upload malicious, unlawful, fraudulent, or unrelated content. Uploaded documents may be processed for solar assessment, system estimation, quotation preparation, or site-survey assistance, and are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. Enquiries, Quotations and Site Surveys

Submitting an enquiry, calculator form, quotation request, or site-survey request does not automatically create a binding contract with Sunveda Solar. After receiving your request, we may contact you to verify information, understand requirements, request documents, arrange a survey, discuss options, prepare a quotation, or confirm project requirements.

A quotation may be subject to technical assessment, site conditions, product availability, taxes, transportation, installation requirements, government regulations, and utility approvals, and becomes binding only when formally accepted by both parties through a signed agreement, purchase order, or work order.

7. Site Survey

A site survey, where applicable, assesses feasibility and requirements by considering roof/installation area, structural conditions, available space, shading, electrical infrastructure, metering requirements, cable routing, access, and safety. A site survey does not guarantee that a system will be installed or that a particular capacity will be approved — the final design may change based on technical findings.

8. Project Timeline

Sunveda will make reasonable efforts to complete projects within communicated timelines. Timelines may depend on site readiness, customer approvals, equipment availability, DISCOM requirements, government approvals, subsidy processing, net-metering procedures, weather, transportation, structural/electrical work, third-party dependencies, and force majeure events (Section 20).

Any timeline provided on the website, during enquiry, or in a quotation should not be treated as an unconditional guarantee unless expressly stated in a signed agreement. If an unforeseen delay materially affects a project, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate this to the customer.

9. Pricing and Payments

Prices displayed on the website are indicative unless specifically identified as a final offer or quotation. Actual pricing depends on system capacity, equipment selected, installation requirements, site conditions, taxes, transportation, government schemes, financing, and additional electrical/structural work.

Payment terms, advance payments, milestones, and cancellation conditions are governed by the applicable quotation, order, agreement, or invoice — not by general information on this website.

10. Refunds and Cancellation

Refund eligibility depends on the nature and stage of the service or project. Where applicable, cancellation/refund terms may account for work already completed, equipment ordered or procured, customized materials, site-survey costs, transportation, installation work, third-party charges, and taxes. The refund policy stated in your signed quotation, purchase order, or agreement takes precedence over general website information.

11. Product Information

Specifications, availability, brands, models, images, dimensions, and warranties for solar modules, inverters, batteries, mounting structures, and other products may change. Images shown may be illustrative and may not exactly represent the product supplied. The final equipment supplied is governed by the applicable quotation, purchase order, or project agreement.

12. Government Schemes and Subsidies

Information about government solar schemes, subsidies, net-metering policies, or financing programs is provided for general guidance only. Government policies, eligibility, subsidy amounts, procedures, and approval conditions may change without notice, and eligibility/approval is determined solely by the relevant government authority, DISCOM, or other authorized body.

Sunveda does not guarantee that you will receive any particular subsidy, incentive, approval, or government benefit.

13. Communication and Consent

By voluntarily submitting your contact information, you authorize Sunveda to contact you regarding your enquiry, quotation, site survey, project, or service request, through phone calls, SMS, email, WhatsApp, or other electronic channels reasonably related to that request.

Where legally required (including under applicable telecom/DND regulations), we will obtain appropriate consent for promotional communications, and you may opt out of marketing communications at any time. Opting out does not prevent Sunveda from sending essential service-related communications concerning an active enquiry, quotation, project, account, payment, warranty, or service request.

14. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

  • Provide false or misleading information.
  • Use another person's identity without authorization.
  • Upload malicious files or software.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
  • Interfere with website operation.

  • Use automated tools to abuse forms or services.
  • Submit fraudulent enquiries.
  • Use the website for unlawful purposes.
  • Interfere with another user's access.

15. Website Security and Vulnerability Disclosure

Sunveda takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the website and submitted information. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and devices secure, and should notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

If you discover a security vulnerability on our website, please report it responsibly to [FILL: security@sunveda.in or appropriate contact] rather than disclosing it publicly. We appreciate good-faith reports and will acknowledge them promptly.

16. Intellectual Property

You may access and use the website for legitimate personal or business purposes, but may not reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell, or commercially exploit our content without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

17. Third-Party Websites and Service Providers

Our website may link to third-party websites — government portals, DISCOMs, financing providers, manufacturers, social media, or payment services. These are controlled by third parties, and Sunveda is not responsible for their content, security, or privacy practices; your use of them is governed by their own terms.

Separately, Sunveda uses third-party technology and infrastructure providers (hosting, authentication, storage, security, communication, analytics) to operate its services. These providers may process information on our behalf, subject to applicable agreements and security measures — see our Privacy Policy for details.

18. Disclaimer Regarding Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep website information accurate, but it may occasionally contain errors, omissions, or outdated content. Information on this website is not professional engineering, financial, legal, tax, or regulatory advice unless expressly identified as such. Before making a significant investment or project decision, rely on the final technical assessment, quotation, and signed agreement rather than preliminary website or calculator information (see Section 4).

19. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sunveda Solar is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of or inability to use the website, including losses from website interruptions, technical failures, connectivity problems, third-party services, unauthorized access despite reasonable security measures, reliance on preliminary calculator estimates, changes in government policy or electricity tariffs, or delays caused by third parties or force majeure. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

20. Force Majeure

Sunveda is not responsible for failure or delay in performing obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, fire, war, civil unrest, government restrictions or regulatory changes, electricity-grid issues, epidemics, transportation or supply-chain disruptions, equipment shortages, or internet/telecommunications failures. We will make reasonable efforts to minimize the impact of such events and resume services as soon as reasonably possible.

21. Account and Customer Portal

Where Sunveda provides customer-account or project-tracking functionality, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential, providing accurate account information, using your account only for yourself or an authorized organization, and informing us if you suspect unauthorized access. Sunveda may suspend or restrict an account where there is a reasonable security, fraud, or misuse concern.

22. Suspension or Termination

Sunveda may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to some or all services if you violate these Terms, your activity creates a security risk, fraudulent activity is suspected, you misuse the website, it is required by law, or continued access could harm Sunveda, its customers, or third parties. Termination does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination.

23. Changes to These Terms

Sunveda may update these Terms of Use to reflect changes in our services, website functionality, business practices, technology, applicable law, or security improvements. Updated versions will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
